First time: I got the Bbq pork banh mi. Very generous portion size. The pork tastes amazing. It was tender, flavorful, juicy and just perfect. The pickled daikon was refreshing and balanced out the meat. The buns were soft inside and crispy outside. Its a perfect banh mi for $7. ———————————————- 2nd time: This time i got the curry chicken banh mi and the grilled chicken with pate, and split with a friend. They are both amazing!! Equally impressive as the bbq pork and same level of quality. I can decide which one i like the best because they are all so good! Will try different flavors next time since they have a pretty big menu.
This sort of hole in the wall restaurant has some amazingly tasting buns. Don't be deceived by the looks, do yourself a favor and try it. Had the pork bun and it was really tasty. Service is really quick, so you won't have to wait long even if there's a line
Still my go-to place for banh mi after all these years! Service is quick, staff are friendly and store is kept clean. A good variety of drink, dessert and sandwich options. Only a couple minutes walk from major subway stations. The prices are still reasonable and the ingredients are fresh. I wish there was more filling in the past, but there's still enough to mix with the baguette - instead of having the bread overpower everything.

Im not a fan of the cold cuts in traditional bahn mi and prefer only the BBQ Pork filling. Love the toasted fluffy bread, the pickled veggies, generous cilantro and cucumbers too! 5/5 Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi-- my first time ordering this one, and wow I'm impressed! The grilled chicken is so flavorful while being moist!
Delicious banh mi. Lots of veggies and pickles. Had the bbq pork banh mi and it was super tasty. At $9, it was a great stop.
Probably the best banh mi in Chinatown. Sad that they raised price to $8 now though. Fresh ingredients and fast service. Ordered at the counter and was ready in less than 2 minutes. Love that the bread is a nice crunchy and not stale like other places I’ve been to. The bbq pork was tasty; I will be coming back. You can dine in or takeout but I don’t think there are any chairs.

Banh Mi Saigon remains one of my favorites in all the city. Phenomenal value, good cold cuts and pickles, pillowy toasty bread. #4, cold-cut pate, and #1, roast ground pork, are my go-tos. Inflation makes a standard order of two half-sandwiches $9 (my 2017 review mentions $5.25), which remains a steal. We picked up 26 sandwiches to cater a party, and it was a MASSIVE hit. So many people asked where it was from. The workers packed the sandwiches clearly in seven bags, and it was a hilarious haul to truck back by subway.
